Revival's Fire

For a long time the idea of giving God praise has been an elusive concept to me.

Praise is defined as the act of expressing approval or admiration; commendation; laudation towards someone else.

So operating from that definition, the idea of telling God we approve of him seems ludicrous.

The God of creation, the God of redemption, and salvation does not need affirmation from us in the least.

The transition in our paradigm comes though, when we realize that God doesn’t need our praise,

We do.

We are created to, in unity declare who God is, to tell the earth that there is power, hope, and joy in the name of Jesus.

When we are not giving God praise, we are not operating according to his will for us, and are in essence living unfulfilled lives.

We will never be able to tell God what he’s worth, but we can try with everything we have.

The goal of Revival’s Fire is to tell God we understand that no words are lofty enough, no songs creative enough, no praise loud enough to fully encapsulate who he is.

But as his kids, as his beloved we are committing together to try

Lets sing together.
